There is a scene in the movie The Wizard of Oz which shows a horse of a different color pulling a carriage.  Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 is "the horse of a different color" when it comes to working with any Windows version greater than Windows 7.  What is the issue?  To be honest, I'm not sure!  I have the game installed on my Windows 7 laptop and it runs great..it even shows the introduction complete with graphics.  However, it is rather fussy when running on my Windows 10 Pro desktop.  Some times it works perfectly and other times it will almost load and then crash.  On those occasions, when I run it again, it works great!  So, the following steps are what I've done to get it to run on my Windows 10 Pro desktop.  I CAN NOT guarantee this will work for you.  So, here are the steps I took:
  1. Having already updated my Directx so that it had the proper Directx9.0c components, I skipped that step in our [How T0] section and installed the game.
  2. Next, I copied the three .dll files from the "MS" folder in the dgVoodoo2_55_2.zip download on our [Files] page into the "bin" folder at:  .\.\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 06\bin
  3. I attempted to run the game after that, but it did not run too well, so I did a little more research and found two other .dll files that I wanted to try on this Web Site.  These were the D3DRM.dll and  D3DCompiler_47.dll files.
  4. I ran the game after copying those two files to the bin folder referenced in step 2 and the results were much better.  Except for an occasion hiccup (which TW 08 does too), the game runs smoothly.
  5. To make your life easy, all the necessary files needed for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 are in the Graphic files for Tiger Woods 06  download in our [Files] section.  Just copy or move all the files in the download package to the "bin" folder referenced in step 2.

    6. You may want to either use the /NOINTRO fix from Coursedownloads or our TW No Intro Fix.zip download in the [Files] section.  I installed the TW 06 No CD Mod available on our [Files] section for my installation.

    So, in conclusion, your results may be different, but I am glad that my favorite Tiger Woods PGA Tour game is running and I'm hoping it will work for you too.
