Blackwood Golf Club weaves its way through a majestic pine forest set in the Arizona high country. While the course features no water hazards it still offers many challenges, including breathtaking elevation changes and plenty of strategically placed sand bunkers. As you leave the clubhouse you find the first five holes playing down into a valley. The sixth hole then plays across Blackwood Creek. The turn onto the back nine is at the furthest point from the clubhouse. After crossing once more over Blackwood Creek on 11, you begin another descent into the valley. The final stretch of 3 holes climbs up the mountainside to bring you back to the clubhouse.
