The Childe of Hale by: Polslad | ||
Childe of Hale is a fictitious layout that could be located in the North West of England, a few miles inland up the Mersey estuary past Liverpool, nearby the small village of Hale. This hamlet was home to John Middleton, who lived in the 18th century, and was, reportedly, 9 feet 3 inches tall and known to all as "The Childe of Hale", from which the course takes it’s name. |
