Royal Valley is an actual course which is located in Luxor Egypt, near the Valley of the Kings.  This course is a fictional design based on this area and naturally has strong ties to the land of the Pharoah's.

I spoke with 2 people at the resort, and after viewing 2 photos of the exsisting course ( which should have just celebrated it's grand re-opening ),  I saw these mounds near the green complexes that completely puzzled me until I asked the million dollar question, "How in the world would you mow these?"  The answer surprised me, and yet made me realize how different our two worlds are...Goats!!
