Whisperwind Golf Club is draped over the peaceful rolling hills of the North Carolina piedmont, just a stone's throw away from Whisperwood, an earlier creation of mine.  Spring is in the air -- azaleas, dogwoods, and other flowering plants overlook manicured fairways and greens.  Yes, there is a lake, some small ponds, and a river.  No, there are no island greens.  Some of the fairways are narrow and require accuracy.  Others are wide and allow for several different lines of approach.  Greens range in size and difficulty as well.  It is my hope that you find Whisperwind a challenging golfing experience in a beautiful setting, with enough variety and playability that you'll enjoy your twentieth round as much as your first.
